Barricades, Molotov cocktails, and battles with police — Chillán, Chile
At about 9:30 pm, in the context of the meeting of CONFECH [Student Confederation of Chile] in Chillán, encapuchxs [‘hooded ones’] blockaded with barricades two of the most central streets of the city, as well as dropping banners in solidarity with the political prisoners Gonzalo Zapata, Francisco Moreno and Cristóbal Franke in addition to a banner against capitalist Education. Molotov cocktails were thrown at the institutions of the State, banks and the larcenous and environmentally destructive business “CGE,” there were also clashes with the repressive forces of the State who, it’s worth mentioning, fired and threatened with their weapons those in the crowd supporting the encapuchadxs, as well as encouraging the lawyers who were in the plaza to confront the encapuchadxs, who also threw anarchist pamphlets to the crowd that observed the barricades, with the following text:
By means of autonomous, anonymous and subversive organization, we declare war on the dominant bourgeois system; on their State based on inequality and the capitalist dictatorship which keeps us poor, exploited and indebted. But through actions such as these, we defend ourselves from their neoliberal violence and their market education, separate from yellow false representatives and partyists who only seek to make political runs, as with the CONFECH spokespersons managed by the party also at the service of the bourgeoisie–P”C”. We are the sons and daughters of the workers who didn’t think twice in defending themselves against any form of oppression and authority. We are the insubordinate, we are in the streets, and we are bourgeoisie’s nightmare.
FREE AND POPULAR EDUCATION!!
NEITHER THEIR COPS NOR THEIR PRISONS WILL DETER THE STRUGGLE IN THE STREET!!
FREEDOM FOR ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS!!
DEATH TO THE STATE AND LONG LIVE ANARCHY!!
Moreover it’s worth mentioning that the yellow mouthpiece party leaders of CONFECH were escorted out in the face of the rage of the bases upon which they have for months sold out the movement, protecting the interests of their parties also at the service of the bourgeoisie.
A nameless who observed everything and didn’t tell anyone anything.

“Around 50 high school students occupied Santiago’s City Hall on Monday morning in a protest that ended with 44 arrests, after apparently being allowed in by municipal workers sympathetic to Chile’s student movement.
The group seized the building just before 8 a.m. and hung banners from its balcony that overlooks the capital’s central square, Plaza de Armas. The protest lasted for an hour until Carabinero special police forces entered through a side door and forcibly evicted the students. Eighteen of those arrested were female and 26 male. La Tercera reported minor damage to the building. Mayor of Santiago Pablo Zalaquett — who ordered Carabineros to evict the protesters — said that he would press charges against the students, who he accused of trying to “polarize the country and initiate class warfare.” A declaration posted on the website of the organization responsible for the protest, the Coordinating Assembly of Secondary Students (Aces), said that the “peacefully occupation” of the municipal building was designed to “reiterate the demands of high school students, that have been set aside by the government and by the entire political class.”~More from santiagotimes

Press Release – Who are Anonymous & What Anonymous represents !
Saturday, February 26, 2011
Dear Citizens of the World.
There has been some confusion among the media about who/what anonymous is/represents. There have also been questions asked about the input from Anonymous during the current global revolution.
Anonymous is an online pool of consciousness, sometimes we create a force towards a similar direction which could manifest in revolution. Anonymous has NO leader. We are one. We are many. One does not speak for many. Many do not speak for all. No one speaks for all. We come from all walks of life. All age, race, sex, places. We have no ideologies. We have every ideology imaginable. We have no goals. We have every goal imaginable. To understand Anonymous would be to understand our universe. Anonymous can not be labelled, blamed or made a scapegoat. To blame Anonymous would be to blame the citizens of the world. There is no discrimination in Anonymous unless you do not have an internet connection. We do not work with post.
No one speaks for Anonymous. Nothing is official. No videos. No operations. Not even this press release, even though it was created by an Anonymous number of Anonymous at an Anonymous time in an Anonymous place and uploaded Anonymously, it does not speak for Anonymous.
At this current time the worldwide events have attracted the attention of many Anonymous. We are shocked. We have witness the violation of human rights, basic human freedoms, media manipulation and unlawful government scare tactics and genocide. Anonymous is everywhere. We see everything. We never sleep, while one side of the world slumber the other awakens. We are active, always.
We do not take sides, we do not believe in sides. We are not followers. We are our own leaders on our own journey. Many Anonymous uphold the law of the land, human rights and freedom of speech, but we are many. We can not speak for all. We know that the following countries Albania, Algeria, Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Honduras, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States of America, Venezuela and Yemen are under protest and are watching them. We are with them. We are them. Where the weak stand together to demand freedom we will stand with them. We are not terrorists. We are freedom fighters, helping to give voices to the voiceless.
We are more than you think. Trying to stop Anonymous is like trying to stop a tsunami with a surfboard, to try to hit a lighting bolt with an umbrella, to douse a fire away with petrol, or to fist fight the earth.
The time has come for the people of the world to unite. You can not wait for a revolution. You are the revolution. We are the revolution. Our strength is in numbers. The time is now. Every time you decide not to exercise your rights, every time you do not deny ignorance, every time you give your money to a corporate business you are contributing to the oppression of the human race. Anonymous is calling for your help. The people of the world are calling for your help.
We do it because we can. We do it for the future, of our children and all life on this planet. We do it because we see lies and deceit. We do it because every digital account is fueled with the strength of human emotion, but mostly we do it for the lulz.
Anonymous are the people. The people are Anonymous. Now you can be Anonymous.
We do not forget.
We do not forgive.
We are legion.
